WWII US ARMY AIR CORPS INSIGNIA

By the end of the war the numbers had increased to 2,400,000 personnel and approximately 80,000 aircraft broken into 243 combat groups. As the number of divisions and groups incremented, it was necessary to create a wide array of insignia.
