WWII US ARMY BANDOLLER
Bandoleer's were issued to armed forces personnel to carry the ammo for the M1 rifles. Each pouch held a
30 Caliber magazine. Notice the bandoleer is constructed in a very similar fashion as the utility belt.
Of canvas material, each pouch has a flap with a snap to make sure the magazines did not fall out while the GI's were running.
The bottom of the bandoleer had metal loops where bayonets, small pouches and
similar things could be attached.
