US ARMY LANDING STRIP PORTABLE BEACON MARKER
This is a US Army beacon marker. Used to mark improvised landing strips. The basic design consists of a nylon bag attached to
a light. The bag would be filled with sand to ensire the beacon would not move out of place. Battery operated. A switch is
provided on the side of the lamp to turn on/off the light.
The bad and the lamp are clearly marked.
