US AIR FORCE MUNITIONS BADGE
This is a U S Air Force munitions badge. Issued in the 1970's and
1980's to personnel who handled munitions. Of metal construction. The design consisted of an eagle clucthing
a projectile. An oval shape wreath extends to the left and right of the eagle. the top of the wreath is
opened.
The badge was secured to the uniform via the use of clutches. The back of the badge has a V-21 marking.
This denotes the contract code.
The design consists of an eagle in flight clutching a bomb on its claws. A half-wreath surrounds the bottom of
the eagle.
