US Navy Flight Surgeons WINGS
this is a set of US Navy Flight Surgeon's wings. A flight surgeon is a military medical officer assigned to
duties in the clinical field known as flight, or aviation, medicine. Flight surgeons are medical or osteopathic
doctors who are primarily responsible for the medical evaluation, certification and treatment of aviation
personnel.
Of metal construction. The front of the badge has an oval design with wings extending to the left and right
sides. Great detail to the plumeage.
The back is of clutch back construction. The manufacturer name was stamped on the back. Marked N-22. This
is a fairly current production set.
