US AIR FORCE 1976 CWU-27/P FLIGHT SUIT -

clothing to save them from the elements caused by flying in an exposed cockpit. This was the birth of

This is a US Air Force flight suit. Type CWU-27/P. Dated 1975. White tag with black letters.
This flight suit was issued to a female. This is a flame proof flight suit.
The patches are attached to the uniform via velcro. The rank is attached to the shoulder area and
is covered with plastic. The plastic turns to a yellowish shade over age.
The name tag is made of black leather with gold lettering.
