Korean War Era - B 15-C Flight Jacket
This is a US Air Force flight jacket. This jacket replaced the WWII B-15B Olive Dran flight jacket. The intermediate
B-15 C jacket was introduced to service in 1950 and saw action during the Korean war. Of Nylon construction. Dark Blue
color with a heavy duty zipper. The collar had a furr finish, indicating that this is a modification produced by the
factory.
The uniform shown here is an example of the type used during the Korean war.
The zipper was manufactured by the Conmar corporation. Made of Brass. Very heavy duty condtruction. It was
equipped with a Black leather pull.
