US Krag Bayonet -
This is a US Army Model 1902 bayonet. Also known as the Krag bayonet. Complete with the metal scabbard with the swivel
frame.
The grips are made of wood. They are secured by the use of two rivets. The lugnut relrase is located on the pommel.
The blade is single edge. Blood groove runs through the center, The base of the blade is marked on both sides. One
side reads "US". The other "1902". One side of the cross guard has a muzzle ring.
The scabbard is all metal construction. The front, near the throat has a rivet. The back comes with a large
bracket which swivels left and right. This is a very distinctive and unique feature which was not repeated
in other bayonets.
