This is a US Army bayonet. Spike type. As issued during the Spanish American War. The blade is of triangular shape and
has a "US" stamp at the base. The scabbard is of metal construction and matches the shape of the blade. A leather frog
is present. A large, Brass, "US" button is attached to one side of the frog.
