US Army Model 1860 Sword -
This is a US Army officer sword. Wooden handle. Originally was wire wrapped but most of the wrapping is now gone. The
hand guard is integrated with the cross guard. Three separation design. The pommel is dove head type. The blade is
stamped on one side with the image of a drawn bow with an arrow. The letters B and M to each isde.
The scabbard is of metal construction. Two suspension rings found at mid-body. Single screw to one side.
