US ARMY TUNIC (1969) - VIETNAM WAR
This is a US Army tunic as used during the Vietnam war. Of rip-stop poplin
construction. Four pocket design.
The Top pockets are slanted. This configuration allowed the soldier to access the contents of the pockets
while carrying a full combat load bearing setup. Flaps are provided to secure the pockets shut.
with green hidden plastic buttons. When the jacket is closed the buttons are hidden from view.
This feature eliminated the number of snags that would occur to the uniform when runing

Two white tags were sewn to the uniform. They contained information such as date of manufacturing, manufacturer's
name, color, size, etc.
