US AIR FORCE TUNIC 1968 - VIETNAM WAR
This is a US Air Force fatigue tunic. Of green poplin construction. four pocket style with the upper pockets slanted.
Hidden buttons. The tunic sports theater made insignia. The sleeves have been shortened. This was a custom modification
that did not meet regulations.
The upper pockets were placed at an angle to allow the soldier easier access to
the contents of the pockets when wearing all the load bearing gear.
The tunic has two tags. One located in the lower section, behind a pocket. The other is located near the collar.
The tags contain important information for a collector, such as, manufacturing
date, manufacturer's name, type of material, color, etc.
This uniform was used during the Vietnam war.
