US ARMY FIELD JACKET (1968) - VIETNAM WAR
This is a US Army field jacket as used during the Vietnam war. Of
sateen construction. Four pocket design. With a built-in hood.
Dated 1968. Small, leather squares provide a base to support the draw
strings. Exposed green plastic buttons secure the top pockets.
A white tag is sewn unto the jacket. It provides a wide variety of information
such as the date of manufacturing, the manufacturer's name, color, material, etc.
The jacket still retains the original manufacturer tag. Buttons are
provided in the inside of the jacket as a means to secure the liner.
