1958 US Army Parka Jacket -
The Vietnam war saw the begining of a new era in the development of the combat
uniform. Lighter materials, which were tear resistant and provided better
ventilation were employed.
The item featured here is a heavy duty parka. Same design as used during the Korean war.
The design consists of a heavy duty coverall. Two lower pockets are placed at an angle. Complete
with a heavy duty liner. A brass zipper secures the front closed. snaps are also provided
to complete the closure.
The waist are has a draw string. The original white tag with black letters is in place. The
