WWII USMC CAMOUFLAGE HELMET COVER

The use of camouflage clothing was introduced during WWII. The Marine Corps was the branch that employed the most number of camo pieces. Since they were deployed in the Pacific theater they saw the need to better blend with their surroundings. Camo clothing is very effective at breaking up their silhoute against the jungle background.

This is a USMC camouflaged helmet cover. This is one of the first patterns employed in the US armed forces. Double-sided with a green pattern on one side and a brown pattern on the other.
