WWII US MILITARY OPTICAL DEVICES

This section covers field gear employed to carry ammunition in the battlefield. All items covered here are manufactured of different materials such as wood, canvis, etc. Much of this gear was sold in surplus and sporting goods stores after the war. Therefore facilitating its destruction from normal wear. Alot of it was also re-issued during the Korean and Vietnam wars. The following information allows the visitor to identify and determine the value of this type of military collectible.


WWII US ARMY WINTER MASK - Of leather construction. Openings for the nose are found. The eyes are protected by a set of general purpose goggles with a clear lens. Issued to Mountain troops.	WWII US ARMY AIR FORCE GOGGLE'S CANISTER - Of metal construction. The lid is hinged to one end. Instructions are glued to the inside top of the lid.	WWII US ARMY FOLDING CAMERA - Black metal body with a folding design. Lense moves forward and backwards on a set of rails. Used by civilian and military forces. - Coming soon	WWII US NAVY BINOCULARS WITH CASE - Brown leather cover is applied to the mid-section of the body. Complete with a brown leather carrying case. - Coming soon.

WWII US GOGGLES WITH CASE - This is a set of early flight goggles. Aluminum frame with yellow glass lenses. Complete with cardboard box.	WWII US AN5630 GOGGLES WITH CASE - Medium hardness rubber body with and aluminum frame encasing the lenses. Light Green color glass lenses. This is a set of flight goggles.	WWII US NAVY BINOCULAR CASE - This is a brown leather case issued with US Navy binoculars. The lid is attached to the main body via the use of a leather strap. The shoulder strap is missing.	1942 WWII US M6 RECOILESS RIFLE SCOPE - This is a scope used with the recoiless rifle. Black metal tube with multiple markings on one end.

WWII US M70C TELESCOPE - This is the scope that was used with the main artillery gun of the Sherman tank. Divided into four stages. The black rubber eyepiece is missing. Known as the M70C model.	WWII US M17 BINOCULARS WITH CASE - This is a set of US Army binoculars. Known as the M3 type. 6 x 30 power. Manufactured by the Westinghouse company. Complete with M17 Brown leather case.	WWII US M17 BINOCULARS CASE - This is a set of US Army binoculars. Known as the M3 type. 6 x 30 power. Manufactured by the Westinghouse company. Complete with M17 Brown leather case.
