WWII US Army Portable Field Table -
This is a US Army field table item. As issued during World War two. The table folds onto itself.
Complete with four chairs. The design is very inginious. All chairs fold and inside the main table. The
chairs have a metal frame with canvis seats.

The upper photo shows the top of the canvis for the chair. The lower photo shows the table completed
folded. It almost looks like an oversized briefcase. The table measures approximatelly 28 inches
by 15 inches.
One of the corners of the table is unit marked. The marking is done with white paint. It reads
M.D. 4.
