WWII US Radio Operator Headset -
This is a WWII US Army or Army Air Force headset. This was used with communications equipment.
It was widely distributed to various applications such as aircraft, headquarters, radio rooms,
etc. The design consisted of a wire structure with two black bakelite/plastic speakers attached
at each end. The wire structure is covered with brown leather. The speakers are attached with
wire which comes together into a plug. This is how the headset was connected to the radio
equipment.
