WWII US army Officer's hat -
This is a WWII US Army officer's dress hat. Of dark brown wool construction. With a dark brown leather visor. a matching leather chin strap is provided. It is attached to the body of the hat via the use of gold metal buttons. The buttons are identical in design to those used in the jacket but they are smaller in size.

A metal eagle is placed in the front of the hat. The design consists of a cut-out army eagle. This is the primary distinguishing factor between the officer's hat and the enlisted man hat.
