The Close Combat clasp was issued to soldiers who participated in close combat fighting for a sustained number of days. The award came in three different classes. Each recognized a different number of days in combat.





The catch of the badge is of thick type. Heavy duty construction.

The hinge for the close combat badge is very durable. Thick type.

The sample shown here has the manufacturer's logo (JFS) on one side. The other side shows raised letters with additional information.
