This is a German WWII Bronze Sports badge. It later became known as the "SA Defense Badge". This badge was instituted on January 19th, 1939. It was produced in three different grades: Bronze, Silver and gold.
each color represented a differene level of achievement in the completion of educational and physical
programs.
