The upper portion of the badge has a tall hinge which holds the pin in a vertical position. The catch
is also directly soldered into the body.

The back of the badge is manufacturer marked. Raised letters are employed to write the initals of the
maker, which reads R.S. It is important to note that not all of the badges were marked.
