WWII GERMAN INFANTRY BADGE

This is a WWII German Infantry Assault badge. Pin back with hollowed construction. It is harder to find this style of manufacturing because it was harder to ensure the durability of the item with less material.

This badge is slightly more valuable than its normal version (filled back).

The Infantry Assault Badge was issued to members of the armed forces for direct participation on battles. Different classes of this badge were produced depending on the number of battles.

Several companies make reproductions of this badge. Some of them have been manufacturing them since the 1950's. Those replicas are harder to detect.
