This is a German WWII Reconnaisance clap. Introduced in January 30th 1941. It was developed to recognize
personnel in the reconnaissance, air-sea rescue and meteorologists of the Luftwaffe.

QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications required to earn the Reconnaissance combat clasp were based on the number of missions
accomplished. There were three different classes of clasps:
Bronze |
The person was required to complete 20 missions

Silver |
The person was required to complete 60 missions
|
Gold |
The person was required to complete 110 missions
|
The clasp was issued with an award document. An example of one is illustrated here.
