WWII GERMAN 1936 OLYMPICS JUDGE BADGE -
Germany hosted the Olympic games in 1936.
The badge featured here was issued to German olympic judges. The design of the badge consists of a metal circular shape with enamel finish applied to the front. Two circles, one inside the other, are located in the front. The outer circle is thinner and red in color. It has the following words scrolled around it: "XI Olimpiade Berlin - Kampfrichter".
The inner circle is white. It displays an eagle with a swastika in the chest. The eagle is a separate metal piece affixed to the top section. Just below that is the olympic games logo (multi-circle design).
The back of the badge has a sprint-type pin soldered to the body. The Manufacturer's logo is found in the lower section. The words Ges Gesch are placed in the upper part.
