WWII was a period where the Germany produced a large number of edge weapons. many of these knives, swords, bayonets and daggers were created for use by the military establishment. however, a good number of them were issued to organizations such as the Police department and the Fire department.

Some of the edge weapons were design for the battlefield. But others were created for a much finer purpose. As a means to inject pride and patriotism into the hearts of the members of various organizations. bayonets like the one shown here were used in parades, dinners and parties rather than the Eastern front.

The item features here is a WWII German Police/Fire stag handle dress bayonet. This is an earlier model manufactured by Puma. The Stag handle was an option available to the purchaser. It is a way to personalize the bayonet and make it look better than the rest.
