WWII GERMAN HITLER YOUTH PATCH -
The Hitler youth was an organization dedicated to promote
military service among the young. The group provided early training on basic soldiering skills
to boys and girls.
The patch featured here was issued to Hitler Youth members during WWII. The design consists of
a light brown square with a red circle embroidered in the center. A single run, white in color,
is placed in the middle of the circle. All cotton construction.
The back has an RZM paper tag which is glued in place.
The tag is adorned with the Hitler Youth and RZM logos. A serial number is stamped with dark
blue ink on the pre-printed lines.
This page is a recognition and identification guide for WWII German cloth insignia. Multiple
detailed photos of a specific sample are provided. Descriptions point out clearly defined points
that should be noted.
One of the most commonly asked questions is "How much is my WWII German patch worth?". A price
guide is included here to address this question. The value of the cloth insignia is reviewed
over a period of several years. A trend can be observed. The present worth of the German
patches and cloth insignia in the collector's market is illustrated.
