WWII GERMAN PARATROOPER FLARE GUN

This is a German WWII flare gun. The manufacturer and waffen stamps can be seen in various locations throughout the gun. Sturdy metal construction with a hinging mechanism designed for flare insertion. The handle was fitted with a lanyard ring which could be secured to the equipment in the uniform. This type of guns were issued to multiple troops including Navy and paratroopers.

The pistol is well marked with waffenstamps. The German eagle symbol.

The flare gun breaks apart in the center to allow insertion of flare.
