WWII GERMAN NAZI PARTY LEADER HAT -
This is a beautiful example of the hat issued to leaders in the Nazi party in Germany during WWII. The main body of the hat is a
tan color. The mid section is a darker brown, velvet type material. White piping covers the outer perimeter at the top and the
upper mid section. The White color indicates one step below the top leadership.
A gold chin strap cord is secured to the body of the hat using two pebbled buttons. A brown leather visor is sewn to the front. The
inside of the visor has a checkered pattern.
The inside of the hat has a cotton brown liner. A plastic diamond shape device is found in the center. This is where the manufacturer's
paper label is placed. A brown leather sweatband is found covering the entire perimeter of the hat.
This page is a recognition and identification guide for WWII German hats. Multiple
detailed photos of a specific sample are provided. Descriptions point out clearly defined points
that should be noted.
One of the most commonly asked questions is "How much is my WWII German hat worth?". A price
guide is included here to address this question. The value of the hats is reviewed
over a period of several years. A trend can be observed. The present worth of the German
headgear in the collector's market is illustrated.
