WWII GERMAN POLICE SALT AND PEPPER HOLDER -
This is a Salt and Pepper holder dish. As issued to mess halls for officers of the German police during WWII. Of ceramic construction. White in color. The design consisted of two small bowls attached together. The back has the police eagle stamped with black ink. The manufacturer's logo is placed right under (rhenania, Duisdorf Bonn). The year 1938 is stamped just below that.

These type of dishes were issued to various branches of the service (military and political) during WWII.
