1920's GERMAN FIRE FIGHTING MEDAL -
This is a German medal that was issued to firefighters in recognition for 25 years of service. Round shape
construction. Complete with the ribbon. The medal attached to the ribbon from the rear. The front design
displays a wreath with a fire helmet in the center. A ladder is found on back. A crossed axe and pick are
also part of the background.
The ribbon is of red color with two wide, black stripes runing down each side. The back of the medal shows how
the pin is sewn with a thread. The words "Fur 25 jahrige Dienstzeit" are written.
