This is one of the official documents employed by Nazi Germany during WWII. The Nazis required everyone to have
documentation to move about the country and the city.
The Arbeitsbuch was one of those documents. It was required to prove that the individual had a job. Therefore,
the need to be in a particular part of town.
Every WWII German ID would have a unique serial number. As can be seen in the photo below.
