East German Bayonet -
The item featured here is a post war German bayonet. Equipped with a hard plastic checkered
handle. Black in color. A release button is placed in the upper section of the handle.
The scabbard is green in color. It has a metal throat where a canvis portion is attached.
This section permits the soldier to attach the bayonet to a belt.
