WWII GERMAN UNIFORM - INFANTRY TUNIC - This is a German WWII Infantry tunic parade uniform. Notice the lack of pockets. They were not necessary because the uniform would only be employed for parties and parades. of gabardine construction. Sporting a total of eight buttons in the front.

Very interesting design to the back. With a "tail" holding a total of six pebbled buttons. White piping covers the perimeter of the "tail". All parade uniforms were of very high quality construction. Complete with a shooting award lanyard and a black wound medal.

This uniform has a dagger clip on the inside. The uniform would have been worn with a dress hat.










An embroidered German Army eagle is located in the chest area. The backing of the eagle is green wool. With a silver bullion body. The eagle is clutching a swastika enclosed in a circle. The head is facing right.



This is a picture of the shooting lanyard. Very high quality construction. Consisting of a loop with a braided silver rope attached to a plastic shield surrounded by laurels. The German eagle is on the shield clutching a swastika and standing over two crossed swords. Silver color. The background of the shield is pebbled. very nice construction.

A black wound medal is located just below the chest area. A loop is placed on the uniform so that the vertical pin of the wound badge can be driven through it. Some of the paint from the black wound badge has been scrapped off revealing the bronze construction.





This uniform is currently being reproduced. It is becoming more difficult to be able to tell the fake ones from the real ones because the quality of the reproductions is improving. The collector must become familiarized with the construction style and materials employed in the manufacturing of this uniform.
