WWII GERMAN PANZER OFFICER TUNIC -
The Panzer troops were in charge of operating and maintaining the armored vehicles and tanks of the Whermarcht.
This is a German WWII Panzer tunic. Combat style. Officer grade. Of wool construction with four pockets.
complete with embroidered green and silver collar tabs. Long sleeves with plastic buttons in the cuff area.
The holes around the waist area are employed to secure a belt.
This uniform has a dagger
clip on the inside. The uniform would have been worn with a
dress hat.
This is the standard metal pebbled face button. Used in this and other types of uniforms. Of aluminum
construction. The back of the button has a metal loop which is used to sew the button to the jacket. The back
is also marked with the RZM markings as well as the manufacturer's name. Sometimes the date is also stamped in
the back.
A cloth army eagle is sewn to the chest area.
One of the breast pockets has several loops. These were employed to secure combat badges and awards such as the
iron cross, tank badge, etc.
The shoulder boards have the classical Panzer pink piping. A single pip is also located on each board.
