IRAQI WISAM AL-RIFADAIN ORDER
This is the Wisam al-Rafidain/Order of the Two Rivers. The lack of crossed swords in the wreath
denote it as a Civilian award.
The crown in the middle of the award represents the kingdom of iraq in the days when King Faisal
the 1st ruked. This era pre-dates the formation of the republic of Iraq.
Newer issued awars did not have the crown. It was replaced with an egale. The change occurred in 1959.
This is the 3rd class award and was worn on the breast of the tunic. The ribbon is missing.
