Japanese Civilian Census Medal - This is a WWII Japanese medal. Issued for participating in the national census.

This particular badge was issued in 1930.

Of metal construction. The image of Mount Fuji is featured in the center with an ondulating pattern around it. A series of Japanese characters are located below the mountain.

The reverse side has two additional charecters, centered on a vertical pattern.

This is a low quality medal. The suspension system is very simple.
