WWII JAPANESE ARMY T-14 LANYARD


The picture here illustrates the T-14 lanyard as well as the strap. The lanyard is constructed of OD cotton with a leather belt loop. The other end has a metal snap hook. Measuring 28" in length.

The strap is constructed from leather. It measures 15" in length and has a metal, roller style buckle.

Lanyards were used to secure the side arm to the wearer. Ensuring that the individual will not loose the pistol, even during extreme combat conditions.

Lanyards were issued to officers in the Imperial Japanese Army during WWII.
