This is a complete load bearing gear set used by the Spanish soldier in the 1970's. All brown leather construction. The contents include a shuolder strap, two ammo pouches, a general purpose pouch, canteen and bayonet.

The leather belt is marked with a blue ink stamp. The shoulder straps connect to the belt via the use of black metal hooks.

The canteen is of green plastic construction and comes with a cloth carrier. The bayonet has a high impact plastic handle and comes with a very thin scabbard. The bayonet attaches to the belt by using a green leather strap.

The edge weapons from many countries are currently being reproduced. It is becoming more difficult to be able to tell the fake ones from the real ones because the quality of the reproductions are improving. The collector must become familiarized with the construction style and materials employed in the manufacturing of these medals. Attention to the details is critical in order to be able to determine the authenticity of the collectible.
