The Spanish Army eagle was placed in front of the helmet. A special bracket was riveted to the helmet to hold the insignia.
The eagle has a set of tabs welded to the back that were employed to secure the eagle to the helmet.
The eagle is made of metal. It measures approximately 2 inches in length. the design consists of an eagle with the wings
spread open. A red cross is placed at the center of the bird.
The edge weapons from many countries are currently being
reproduced.
It is becoming more difficult to be able to tell the fake ones from the real ones because
the quality of the reproductions are improving. The collector must become familiarized with
the construction style and materials employed in the manufacturing of these medals.
Attention to the details is critical in order to be able to determine the authenticity of
