The item featured here is a white leather holster. The lid is in the shape of a semi-circle with a strap attached to the center.
A magazine pouch is found on the side of the holster. The sides have two chromed loops where the shoulder strap can be secured.
The back of the holster reveals two leather belt loops with one end riveted and the other sewn to the main body. Two stamps are found
on the back. One consists of an oval with the name of the manufacturer: A. Durussel. The other marking is a square with a cross in
the center and the letters wy.
The edge weapons from many countries are currently being
reproduced.
It is becoming more difficult to be able to tell the fake ones from the real ones because
the quality of the reproductions are improving. The collector must become familiarized with
the construction style and materials employed in the manufacturing of these medals.
