WWII German AfrikaKorps Canteen -
The German Africa Corps, Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK), was the German expeditionary force in Libya and Tunisia during the North African Campaign of World War II. The force was kept as a distinct formation and became the main German contribution to Panzer Army Africa which evolved into the German-Italian Panzer Army and Army Group Africa.

The canteen has a wood-looking veneer. A canvis harness surrounds the body permitting it to be carried. The cap is made of bakelite and is attached to a canvis strap. The main body has markings built to one side. They read "DRGM H.R.E 43 RPangm 38". A heavy duty metal clip is attached to one side.
