BRITISH MILITARY HEADGEAR

The british nation has played a key role in the history of warfare for many years. in such a role it had to develop and improve various types of helmets to help protect theit soldiers while in battle.

Tanks and aircraft were used heavily durign WWII. While these machines were not new, this was the first time that they were heavily used in battle. New headgear had to be created to protect the occupants of the new machines. Tanker and pilot helmets make some of the most interesting types of headgear ever developed.

This page provides a comprehensive look at the headgear from WWI to the present. It provides a means to identify a helmet and determine its value via the use of our miliary antiques price guide.
