This is a Russian Army Tanker uniform as used in the 1970's. The tunic has a two pocket construction.
Field gray color. The buttons bear the scickle and hammer emblem in the center of a pebbled star.
The "CA" in the shoulder boeards denote the Army designation. The overall quality of the
uniform is not bad. Later samples did not fare as well as the Soviet Union disintegrated and the
military budget became more of an issue.
The uniform is marked with ink stamps on the inside of the jacket.
The tanker patch is made of rubber. The medals are manufactured of light tin or plastic.
The pants have an old fashion strap to go around the shoes.
