BRITISH HOMEFRONT AND OTHER MILITARY ANTIQUES

The british nation has played a key role in the history of warfare for many years. Through the vast expansion of its empire to the bleak days of WWII and the Battle of brittain, the homefront was essential to provide support to the troops fighting to expand or defend the nation.

Organizations such as the Civil Defense and Relief Society were critical in performing duties such as fire fighting, reconstruction, collection and distribution of supplies, caring for wounded soldiers and many more activities.

Many of the items that were used during the war have now become military collectibles. People from around the globe are interested in learning more about them and purchasing them to enhance their own collections. the challenge now becomes in figuring out what the items are and what they are worth.
