WWII US Army First Aid Black carlisle bandage -
This is a US Army first aid bandage. As issued to many of the army soldiers during World War two.
the bandage was used to treat wounds received in the battle field. the idea was to buy the soldier
some time until the medic arrives and the wounded was able to be transported to a medical facility.
Bandages were housed in a variety of containers. This one is a black paper bag that has been
weatherproofed. The front of the bandage reads:
